Beautiful

One thing I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in his temple.
Psalm 27.4

Is God beautiful?

If you put the word "beauty" into a Bible search engine, it is surprising how rarely it shows up in Scripture, and how ambivalent the word is. However perhaps, as Brian Zahn says, "beauty will save the world." This coming week we will talk about Beauty, about God, about worship, and all that good stuff.
